A dog park can be a great addition to our community. It provides dogs with a chance to erercise and socialize with other dogs as well as provides owners a place to do things with their pets that they might otherwise not be able to do, especially if they live in a place with little to no yard. A dog park will promote responsible prt ownership and the enforcement of dog-control laws; give dogs a place to exercise safely; this will reduce barking and other problem behaviors; provide seniors and disabled owers with an accessible place to exercise their companions; and provide an area for community- building socializing.
