The American Made Renewable Energy Technology Implementation Incentive will provide a cash incentive directly to customers who purchase renewable energy systems that are made in the USA. The sliding scale per watt of rated capacity incentive is a set rate designed to offset installation costs. This incentive is for new Solar Photovoltaic, Wind Electric, Solar Thermal Electric, Biomass Electric, Geothermal Electric, Micro turbine Electric, hydro Electric, land fill Gas Electric, Geothermal Electric, Livestock Methane Electric, Tidal Electric, Wave Electric, and other UL approved Electricity Generation Systems. This incentive will pay: $1.00 per wattup to 100 KW 50¢ per watt up to one MW 20¢ per watt up to 10 MW 10¢ per watt up to 100 MW of rated production capacity. To apply for the incentive, the following conditions must be met: • Renewable energy must be grid-tied and net metered • Each project must be completely funded • All applicable permits must be approved • All products used in the installation must be manufactured in the United States The cash incentive has no cap and will be paid directly to the system owner once the system is fully operational, and the installation has been signed off by the electrical inspector. Requirements: Technology must be UL approved and made in the USA. Installer must be NABCEP certified. This incentive will create "green collar jobs" in united states in the manufacturing, installation, sales, design, and maintenance of renewable energy systems.
