Let's keep our EMS safe please. We need them

Vests: No death by rooty tooty point and shooty No Vests: Death by rooty tooty point and shooty.

Please let these brave first responders get the equipment they need to be safer.

They could be white with a red Cross as is traditional. Keep the blue for the police.

Sadly you guys need body armour. In terms of colour you should choose a bright yellow, red or orange to A) distinguish yourselves from law enforcement and B) increase your visibility, especially on roads and highways. Here's an example for a German paramedic uniform: https://www.johanniter-kaufhaus.de/media/image/5a/82/7a/b5.jpg No one can claim that body armour vests makes you look like law enforcement when you choose a similar coloration.

After the Las Vegas shooting you should have said yes to this right away. Make the right choice

This was a very easy petition to sign, it seems commen sense

Anything to keep them safe! If it was your child, spouse, parent on the front line you would want them to have any measure of protection

Labor laws mean employers are not allowed to bar you from wearing things that protect you. Stay safe, thank you for working to save lives.

They are angels to people in their time of need. PROTECT THEM

I see no practical downsides here- so long a story the medical teams can do their job, any modicum of protection we can afford them should be awarded.

Armor for all

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone wanting people to be less safe, vests are a no brainer.

As a Paramedic in a less than desirable city I see these as necessary uniform item anymore
