Sub: Request for Fee Reduction under RLP (Remote learning program)

We”Parents of Amity Private school, Sharjah” are all very appreciative of school management decision to closure of schools due to pandemic situation from COVID19. We are very happy that management team is committed to their student’s health & safety and started a supplement of education (Remote learning program) .

When we analyze Remote learning program, we observed that parents has to take care both technical and non-technical resources and align them properly for their children. For parents, under the same umbrella of working from Home, he/she has to spend more than 3-4 hrs a day just to assist their children with his/her current and future activities. So, we understand that lot of accountability comes to parents during Remote learning program.

We also observed that due to COVID-19, government has also come-up with choice to employer to reduce the salary of employees. This is absolutely employer’s decision and responsibility but under such financial implications and instability, it is difficult for parents to pay full fee payment. In the last few days all the business have suffered, they have asked to take unpaid leave, most employees are being laid off, day to day lifestyle has stopped. Many schools in Dubai are supporting the parents and have announced reductions in fees. So, we conjointly request to Amity Management team for Fees Reduction of minimum of 30% under remote learning program.

Under this difficult time, I hope Amity team will co-operate us.
