We”Parents of Amity school, Dubai” are all very appreciative of school management decision to closure of schools due to pandemic situation from COVID19. We are very happy that management team is committed to their student’s health & safety and started a supplement of education (Remote learning program) .
When we analyze Remote learning program, we observed that parents has to take care both technical and non-technical resources and align them properly for their children. For parents, under the same umbrella of working from Home, he/she has to spend more than 3-4 hrs a day just to assist their children with his/her current and future activities. So, we understand that lot of accountability comes to parents during Remote learning program.
We also observed that due to COVID-19, government has also come-up with choice to employer to reduce the salary of employees. This is absolutely employer’s decision and responsibility but under such financial implications and instability, it is difficult for parents to pay full fee payment. In the last few days all the business have suffered, they have asked to take unpaid leave, most employees are being laid off, day to day lifestyle has stopped. Many schools in Dubai are supporting the parents and have announced reductions in fees. So, we conjointly request to Amity Management team for Fees Reduction of minimum of 30% under remote learning program.
Under this difficult time, I hope Amity team will co-operate us.
Their Help and Co-operation shall be highly appreciated.

My child is in grade 1. Neither is the standard of elearning world class nor are the teachers able to handle it. If we as parents need to leave our office work n concentrate for 4 hours on elearning we dont see a reason to pay a full fees.
Both my kids are studying in Amity School Dubai and both me and wife got to do work from home. In this situation we have to take time off from work to assist our kids and require additional resources at home. Please consider fee adjustment as per current situation.
Govt of Sharjah and Abu Dhabi has already announced waiver or massive reduction of fees in private schools & institutions. The public at large without continuous earnings needs a break & this industry has been enriched over the years.
I'm a professor and I also compromised with my half salary bcz we try to reduce huge burden of students fees. Hence, I'm requesting to Amity university as same
I have lost my job due to Covid-19 and I would like to request for a fee reduction for my son's school fees at this moment of time.
This covid situation some parents has reduced salery so plz if possible to reduce fees.

Requesting the management to consider the sincere request from the parents. Although the learning of my child has not stopped, we parents at home are spending our time too, to facilitate your methods of teaching to the kids inspite of our workloads ( personal and professional). Even we are equally taking up the burden of your new mode of teaching. Hence requesting the management to consider the request on fees reduction for at least 30%
