This is where we as Americans (the 99% and the 1%) finally say enough is enough with the political games and make our elected officials do their jobs. WE the American public elected all 535 members that make up the United States Congress so why is that WE the American people don't control what they do? It's no secret that lobbyist control Washington D.C.; the more money you have to give to politicians the better chance you have to get legislation passed in your best interest, this is wrong and it needs to change. This petition is to eliminate any elected official from taking any money from any corporation, period. This is our chance to take our country back from the greedy banks, oil companies, and other corporations who only care about their bottom lines, not the United States of America as a whole. This is our chance to make the power of the people greater than the power of the Almighty dollar.
