Potbelly pigs are pets just as dogs and cats are in North America. That is the reason they where originally imported here. Lets keep it this way. An example can be that chickens are raised as meat here but not cockatoo's. Yet both are big birds. So please, lets keep our loved pets out of the food market.

I grew up on a farm where slaughter was an every day thing as was my husband. However as a proud pot belly parent, I could never fathom eating my baby a notion my husband didn't understand till little Hamlet joined our family. We would not consume one of the dogs and he is much like them only smarter. :-)
