I can't have a cat or dog because I have bad allergies but my kids wanted an animal so we got a potbelly pig. He was so smart did tricks for treats let us know when he had to go out side we loved him so much we got another pig he was smaller so he hung out with my 2year old when my son made a mess with his food the pigs were right there to clean up after him. We love our pigs and would never think of them as food even if we had nothing else to eat they are family to us just like people have their cat or dog. Pigs as pets not food
