Do not agree to let Pence have his way. These methods are not what America wants!

Mr. Pence has no right to use his religious beliefs as a sword to kill people whose lifestyle he doesn't agree with. The Constitution is very adamant in the right to citizens separating church and state. In his role as Governor of Indiana, he cut funding to planned parenthood which resulted in almost epidemic rises in the HIV rates there. His further beliefs on homosexuality and aversion therapy are extremely flawed and he must not be allowed to a position where he can harm citizens in this manner.

Sexual orientation comes at birth. How do I know? Several of my friends tried so hard to be straight but just couldn't. How dare you subject them to a cruel treatment!

Homosexuality is not a disorder and should not be treated as erasable by electro-shock therapy! Because people are different does NOT mean they need to be tortured. Let people be people their own way. It is not for you or anyone else to judge! I grew up in a boy-girl era and the topic of homosexuality, etc., never came up, but I have never been so narrow-minded that I would presume to judge others on the way they feel! Get rid of this conversion therapy! The only thing needing conversion is your attitude toward the LGBT community!

The practice is outdated, proven ineffectual, and condemned by our Medical community including Mental Health Professionals. And the thinking behind this is archaic.
