American Airlines has officially reversed their decision and confirmed that the jobs will remain in Tulsa. We are currently finalizing the verification of their written commitment to maintain these roles locally. I will monitor their compliance with this agreement to ensure they honor the full terms of our state incentives.

Executives at Americans Airlines recently announced that they would be moving at least 200 jobs out of state and are looking to transfer more over time.

The citizens of Tulsa and Oklahoma have spent over $70 million in incentives for American Airlines to update equipment, funding for a state-of-the-art maintenance hangar, and payroll tax rebates in exchange for AA's promise to keep jobs in Oklahoma and bring in new jobs.

American Airlines employees -- mechanics, pilots, flight attendants, and support workers -- agreed to nearly $2 billion in salary cuts and concessions since 2003.

It is outrageous to expect Oklahomans to make sacrifices while American Airlines ignores their promise.

Now it's time to make these executives honor their end of the bargain. The CEO and executives need to hear this message from everyone in Oklahoma.

The citizens of Oklahoma need to work together as a community to fight back; AA needs to keep jobs in Oklahoma and bring in new jobs.

So tired of big companies using tax payer money then just leaving town when they decide they want more profit. Tulsa needs those jobs.

Tulsa has done more than enough for them. They took our money and now they are running away. Total garbage.

WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY? They took the tax breaks and left us hanging. Keep the jobs here where they belong!
