We, the students of AUP hereafter named, formally request that from this semester onward the professors of this institution publish all syllabus information for classes offered the following semester prior to the registration of classes for that semester. We request this in order to make informed decisions on the classes for which we register regarding conflicting due dates, particularly towards the end of the semester. We refer specifically to the dates of exams and the quantity and due dates of research and term papers, projects, presentations, in-class essays, etc. as well as the time and location of professors' office hours.
This information will also be paramount in determining the activities and clubs for which we sign up in the first weeks of the semester.
This will also give us the opportunity to find and purchase books ahead of time for a reduced price. Being forced to purchase books from the school bookstore can be crippling to students' wallets.
