Teachers often use their preferred learning style as their main mode of teaching and if students do not share those same preferences then learning can be very difficult and frustrating. Everything that we have created has changed into a new and improved way, except for schools in America. Ever since school was invented, it has just been a teacher in front of the class teaching her/his teaching style and not the kid’s style of learning. Schools need to evolve with the kids, and yet schools have not changed. I believe if we change the school system and work to improve a new and better one that every student will succeed. Author Combs once said, “Without an understanding of the unique meanings existing for the individual, the problems of helping him effectively are almost insurmountable."
