The recordings which emerged from this studio had a huge impact on the devlopment of several musical forms but it was especially known for some outstanding examples of southern-soul music, not least because of the empathy of its wonderful rhythm section

MY DAD GREW UP LISTENING TO THESE HITS IN MEMPHIS. AMERICAN RECORDING STUDIO IS LEGENDARY AND NEEDS ITS SPOT IN THE HALL.

The Box Tops tracks still sound better than most stuff on the radio today. Chips Moman was a genius and this is way past due.

so many classics came out of that room. its crazy they haven't been honored properly yet.
