Against this practice of FGM. It is trespassing the birth right of these poor girls!
The primitive act of female genital mutilation is excruciatingly painful and subjects girls and women to suffer a lifetime of physical and emotional pain. There is no covenant, no medical reasons for this practice to be allowed. When did this practice become "legal"?
It's unconscionable that this ancient and excruciating mutilation of little girls, causing them a lifetime of pain and infections, would be allowed in what is supposed to be an enlightened country.
We should also pass laws forbidding child mutilation in general, including male circumcision.
Thank you for raising up and asking for other women to band together to stop this terrible, cruel practice!!

Insane that 24 states still don't have laws. I believe my state, PA, is one of them.
