The Wallingford town charter needs to be revised in order to allow business advertisements on school grounds. This will earn money for the schools, reducing the amount that needs to come from the town and tax payers. Advertisement does not negatively affect the learning process as shown from looking at similar sized districts that allow advertisements. It is shown that there are no correlations connecting advertisements to negatively impacting the learning process. In fact, many have higher test scores than that of Wallingford's scores. What is the difference between a company paying to have a poster up and us paying to use goods that have their names on them. They are both advertisement. Do you want your tax dollars going to advertise, or would you rather have the schools be paid to advertise? Sign this petition to support students and adults who want to benefit there school, community, and most importantly there education.

This Does not include: Billboards, flyers, cards, hand outs, etc.
Includes: banners, posters, sponsoring sports areas (tennis court, football fields, tracks, etc.), etc.

**NOTE: Must be a registered Wallingford Voter**
