Please pass legislation that punishes criminals that harm animals as a felony offense. It is a punishment befitting the crime and a big statement towards the judicial heart of Mississippi.

If the law would enforce these Animal cruelty bills all over the country, there would be less suffering animals. The problem is they turn their heads. Why? are they afraid the ones abusing the animals are the ones controlling the holding votes keeping them in their positions? If this is the case how sad. Think about this, for all of the animal abuse cases you are not prosecuting you are letting child abuse predators go free. Yes, that is right. If you do not think that someone capable of harming an animal is capable of doing the same to a child then you need to think again. How sad we live in a country that allows our fur-babies to be treated so horribly.. Our Government officials do not care about the fur-babies. IF they did they would make changes; enforce and mandate that the county officials in each state must enforce these laws... Not just throw a fine on someone, or even let them go free. Wake up People it is only getting worse......

We need to be the voice for the ones that speak. An animal feels pain just like a human does they have feeling all they want is to be loved.. All lives matter and no animal should suffer at the hand of a cruel human, it's time to raise up and fight for our animals no more slap on the hand if there heart is cold enough to watch as a innocent animal screams for its life then it's cold enough to kill a human and to be there is no difference in my life then my dogs life..!!!

Animal cruelty is inexcusable and is often an indication that someone is a danger to other innocent and defenseless beings - children and the elderly being two of the most at risk. Please make these crimes punishable to the furthest extent of the law.
