Amazon, Where is the Prime equity for Alaskans?

Once upon a time, Alaska residents subscribing to Prime could place an order and receive it in a reasonable time frame, or pay an extra fee for one of two different speeds of expedited shipping. Since November of 2017, this has not been the case.
Our only option these days, whether shipping to postal boxes or street addresses, is free standard shipping, allegedly 3-7 business days.
Any Prime member who placed a Black Friday or Cyber Monday order with Amazon, was lucky to receive those orders by Christmas. Many of us who ordered in ample time for Christmas delivery are STILL waiting for their orders. Your new and unannounced/unexplained changes to shipping services screwed a lot of Alaskan families out of complete Christmases. I, the author of this petition, still haven’t received everything I ordered for Christmas. It seems like you are shipping our orders without consideration for us as customers, just - whenever you feel like it. I have watched delivery dates change 3, 4 x before delivery. Some of these orders are still in transit!
Amazon, are you aware you are charging Alaskans the SAME Prime membership rate you charge other Americans in the lower 48 - $99.00/yearly? However, we aren’t getting even remotely the same service.
Your competitors Target, Nordstrom, and Kohl’s can and do shop to Alaska in a timely manner and for free. They all offer expedited shipping and their rates are reasonable. On your website, I see you’re still alleging to offer Alaska Amazon Prime Members Standard Shipping (3-7 business days) for Free, Expedited Shipping (2-5 business days) starting at $5.99 per item, and Priority Shipping (1-4 business days) as low as $11.99 per item. However, I’ve not seen these options for nearly two months at checkout. As of 12/30/17, you are STILL advertising these Prime shipping benefits for Alaska customers. Isn’t this fraud?
Amazon, you need to offer the SAME shipping benefits to your customers in Alaska that you offer to your stateside customers. If you aren’t willing to do so, you need to offer a lower Prime membership fee for us. You cannot continue to charge us the same price for services you no longer offer. We pay the same as everyone else. We aren’t on Mars. We aren’t in Russia. Shipping to us is not international (as I was told by one of your customer service reps last week).
Plainly stated, you are ripping off your Alaskan Prime members. Changing the terms of your shipping, which is a hook for so many of us, AFTER we’ve signed up, is unethical at best.
Honor the membership we PAID FOR!
