I do not believe the mother deserves jail time especially because she was not present during the murder and she certainly did not expect her significant other to murder her son. But I do agree that the laws need to change ASAP, especially regarding the Child Protective Services procedures and policies. Child Protective Services definitely need reform!

Too many children dying from being in abusive homes. Laws need to change and we need to protect the children not give them back to their parents.
