I knew Amari and he was the sweetest baby. We need better laws that protect our children and grandchildren from abusers. I believe here needs to be accountability for the parent who leaves their child in the care of someone they knew had an abusive past. These children who are murdered don't have a voice anymore. So we all need to be their voice and get these laws passed to protect them. And make CPS more accountable.

I do believe that the law needs to change. If a parent or legal guardian is living with a child abuser or has history of domestic violence and anything happens to the child under their care, that parent should be held accountable and charged with child endangerment and/or child negligence. A parent should also be charged if the child is left under the care of someone with history of abuse. It’s just common sense at this point.
