Our little league teams here in Amarillo have better names than what was chosen. Unless you want the players playing in tutu's please consider something a little stronger.

Please---Do not embarrass Amarillo---we are not a "hicktown"===choose another appropriate name the children can be proud of!!!

The only one that sounds decent to me is the Longhaulers...but I found out that is another word for a truck driver, & has nothing to do with Route 66. I know there have to be better suggestions out there!!

This list is just embarrassing. Why do the owners want to hurt the chances of baseball getting off the ground here before the stadium is even completed?

Sod poodles is a bogus nickname. If you want to call the team the Prairies Dogs then call them the Prairie Dogs, or better yet, the bobcats, coyotes, longhorns, trail blazers, anything that is not on that list.
