I am so embarrassed that out of 3,000 entries theses are the 'best'? Please have a do-over. Sod Poodles? Jerky? When I first saw these, I thought it was a joke or fake story. Amarillo should get to vote from all entries.

I have been a citizen of Amarillo for over 75 years and I would rate Amarillo as the most dysfunctional city in the U.S. Why can't we allow a ballot for the 3000 names and narrow it down to a certain number and then vote again for the remainder. Then we can all have a chance at picking a name and if you don't vote , don't cry about it.
