I'm 66 years old born and raise in the Texas panhandle. I have never heard Prairie Dogs called anything but PRAIRIE DOGS. Long Haulers makes me think of trucks not cattle drives. Jerky.... REALLY??? Boot Scooters fair but if I was ball player I don't think so. Bronc Buster weak very weak. Put the 3000 name submitted to the public to vote on and take the top five from the public vote and see what the people of Amarillo and the Panhandle choose.
