Im not a sports fan. But I don’t have to be to know these choices need to be redone. Besides it being a black eye to Amarillo, what professional team would want to be associated with such as this?

Seriously?! Are we trying to reinvent Amarillo or just make us look like a bunch of hicks? How does "Jerky" (a dead cow who's meat has been dried) commemorate our cattle heritage? I love baseball and all about fun names but this is such a sorry pick from ALL the amazing names that people have submitted for consideration. I vote for a new list to be chosen!

These names are ridiculous. Maybe try Yellow City Dillas, or Amarillo Bombers. Those 5 picked, sound like a joke!!!

Amarillo Tornadoes

So the city promotes downtown revitalization with the ballpark as a key feature and this is the kind of stuff they come up with for the teams name? Just know that a lot (i would say the majority) of locals feel like they've been sold a bill of goods!!! This is probably the main reason why Amarillo can't attract the economic prosperity it is so desperately searching for-this kind of thing is what labels Amarillo as a jerkwater community to other cities across the state. A true embarrassment!

These names are horrible and should not have made the final round. They are embarrassing and will cost the city if no one goes to the games.

Bronc Buster's is the only passable name, and it's boring. The others are bad to awful.
