As usual, Amarillo becomes the joke of Texas. I can't believe the people in charge of this fiasco didn't have the foresight to understand what a horrible mistake these names are. But, just add it to the list of things that makes Amarillo subpar in the eyes of Texas. Get it together! We have to deal with this baseball stadium that's not really a baseball stadium, so let's try not continue to look like idiots to the rest of the free world.

I will never support a team with any of the names presented. I will drive to Dallas to watch the Rangers and give their stadium and city my money. Good luck Amarillo, I won’t acknowledge I’m from here when discussing baseball!!!

I think it should be Texas Dustbowls. We are Yellow, we originally had dustbowls. Plus, myself being born and raised in Amarillo we need something that has meaning to our city!

First off, Amarillo barely even wanted a baseball field. Now you insult us further with these disgraceful names... Who ever is in charge of this operation needs to be terminated. Our Mayor should pull our tax payer funding of this project away....

These names are awful, embarrassing to the community and NO ONE wants to wear a shirt with that on it, nor do we want to scream out any of those names at a game! Please come up with something better that our community can be proud of and that the players can be proud to represent!

I wouldn’t have supported the ballpark if I knew the plan was to embarrass the good citizens of Amarillo and West Texas. Who is running this show? I hope this is a bad joke.
