I was all for driving from Lubbock for some games but I can’t be boisterous about telling people I’m headed to a “Sod Poodles game”.

I think Golden Spurs fits the Golden Spread and the western heritage of the area. Please don't build a great, costly ball park and name a team with those names that are listed as finalists!

This is an embarrassment to this city and it’s future fans. How could anyone support these team names let alone expect the players and the fans to support it? There are so many better routes that could be taken for a team name. Please reconsider these options.

These are disappointing. The two best options I've heard are Flatlanders or Plainsmen.
