Ok some of these names might seem cute but they are not names for a pro team. Sorry but what pro team is going to want to stick around and be made fun of because of their name. I think we can do better than this. Although a couple are mildly ok mediocre just isn't good enough

Amarillo Gold Sox or Amarillo Whirlwinds would be lots better. Those selected are of no respect to a baseball team or if Amarillo.

Typically Amarillo mentality- the city council must of had something to do with it.

It would not only be an embarrassment for Amarillo, but also for the surrounding areas.

There are better names that could show the diversity of the Yellow City than the names previously submitted. I.e. yellow city bombers, Amarillo splunkers, yellow city travelers, Amarillo rainman, etc.

Just, no. Let’s find a way to use “yellow city” or “bomb city” and maybe “bombers” or “nukes”
