It could be worse. Back in 1923 we had the Amarillo Gassers......
then there's been the Gold Sox and the Thunderheads.
Of course for the one year we had the Gassers, we were on track to win first according to Wikipedia. Then the whole league folded.

After spending all that money on a stadium you should be able to come up with something that shows some class? Amarilo hasn't had a lot of luck with keeping teams. May I suggest: Amarillo Temps?
