This keeps happening and happened exactly 1yr ago same amounts. I just got a bill for $400. In fact I just got last years bill paid off .

They came and checked out meter and said nothing was wrong but changes out the merter. What does that say. The bill was just as high the next month. We have watered less this year but paying double. We could let the grass go a long but then how would our city look if everyone does this.

I am signing this because of this reason. My bill for many months have been around $50.00 to $60.00 range. August, September, October $80.00-$90.00’s. I do not have a sprinkler system, swimming pool, hot tub, kids. Work all day and wash on the weekends. I have called 4 times in which they say. We will come reread the meter. They will test it and if no problems charge me $30.00 for the test. REALLY!!!!

My water bill doubled during this Time, as well. My dead grass tells me that I have not been watering more than usual. This has happened before, and this MUST be the last time. Do it right, or get someone who can.

We have a small yard with a sprinkler system. in Hillside Terrace. We moved here from Timbercreek Canyon where we had excellent well water and a septic tank.
We never noticed the cost of water per se and our electric bill was under $150 per month. Cost of the well and septic tank were amortized over twenty years making their monthly costs minimum
We moved to Hillside Terrace in late July and have just received our first water bill. It is $528 and is devastating.
We would like to require the city to provide a complete cost analysis showing how they can justify these bills.
Our complaints will produce no results unless we require them to make their case for these seeming outrageous bill.

Don't understand how my water bill can be so high. I have called the City a couple of times. They re-read the meter. First time it was incorrect the second time they said it was correct.

I was charged over 100,000 gallons in one month, with continual absurd and ridiculous charges continuing after this. After calling trying to figure what was going on I was flat out told “you can’t do anything about so it doesn’t matter”, “don’t pay it and you won’t have water”. “We don’t know or care what happened to the water, your meter says it so your being charged for it, period”. This city has been overcharging citizens for way longer then the period in this petition and it’s no secret that out city government uses utility billing as a way to blatantly tax us and without any oversight or regard for any recourse, there is no accountability here and so they continue to be able to get away with robing is blind.

I had the same think happen. My water bill claims I used 40,000 gal. I had to pay the bill. I really don’t think they read the meters.

My bill went from average of between 65 to 150. My bill all of a sudden went to over 500 only 2 people live in the home had plumbing checked no leaks. If you drive by city view school in the evening around 8:30 that’s probably what we are paying for! All the messed up sprinklers watering the street!!!

I live in the woodlands area and a water pipe did burst right next to the fire station and it just poured for hours. Same month my water bill doubled and now it’s back to normal range
