Amanda's Petition

My petition appeal is for leniency - for the school to reconsider my grades on this single paper, to allow for a passing grade and for me to graduate with my peers.
This paper was shy of 4 marks to a pass which means I will have to retake the entire module commencing January 2015, for a period of six months. In short, I would have to delay my graduation and retake the entire module, pay school fees and other miscellaneouscosts (estimated at $3,000 to $5,000) not to mention, on top of the course fees - a substantial amount of $39,000 to $41,000.
Personally Ifeel that this is an overly heavy penalty to pay for a small difference of 4 marks on a paper with highly nuanced solutions. Understandably, should this have been a math or economics paper with clear-cut and inflexible solutions, grading would no longer be subjective interpreted and I would therefore have no grounds for appeal.
I believe that as an educational institution, a significant part of the grooming and educational process is to indicate where a student has gone wrong so that they might have a chance to rectify their errors and learn from their mistakes. In my case, I did not receive any feedback or indication as to where I might improve prior to, as well as after the submission of this paper. Though I made significant efforts in trying to follow up and speak with the lecturers, they have not resulted in any actionable information.
My friends and peers, your loving support (and comments) in signing this petition would be a great help.
