What a story of a life this man had. Hurts me to know he's sitting in a retirement center and has to give up a leg and they might take another. This guy touched a lot of lives. Riders who I've met in Shelton to riders I know in Tacoma to having his family live on the same property and being best friends with my stepdad growing up

I hired Bob for the first race at Holiday Hills 1/2 mile in 1973 and he did a great job yes he is a icon of NW racing be glad to see him in the Hall of Fame
