Ronnie Yarbrough, Worley is a self serving piece of crap! If he had gone to the police after what happened to Colleen, other young ladies would still be alive! If he had told someone other than his brother-in-law or if his brother-in-law or anyone else that messed up family would have said something to police, Melissa Northrup, a young pregnant mother of 2, would not have had to endure what Colleen did. Worley only spoke up eventually to save his own skin.
He is guilty of being an accessory to kidnapping, rape, torture and murder! Colleen was my friend. I am very close to her family and they are doing a life sentence. He needs to do every damned minute of his 40 year sentence, all the while praising God his worthless life was spared!
You knew him in high school... pft! You know nothing.

Actually, Worley testified that, although he tried to rape Colleen, he couldn't get or maintain an erection. So, I guess his penis is as flimsy as his spine.

Time has NOT been served. He got 40 years and that was a gift. He should be grateful for every day of it!

The only reason the death penalty was not pursued in Worley's case was because it seemed unlikely that he would have done anything like that on his own. However, he is stupid enough to get involved with someone like McDuff. Plus, and this is VERY important, if, once he had gotten away from McDuff, he had turned McDuff in, Melissa Northrup and God knows how many other young ladies would still be alive. Now, he DID tell someone what THEY had done to Colleen after the fact. Someone in his family, I believe it was his brother-in-law he told on New Years day. I could be a little off on the specifics but, it was a male family member and I know the date is close. If that male family member had spoken up, McDuff would have been stopped sooner. What about the rest of the family? How many of you knew? Don't tell me that whoever Hank told kept it to himself. You don't keep a secret THAT big. Does no one in your family have a conscience?!? Perhaps, his kids would be better off being raised by people who do.
You whine about his kids... what about Melissa Northup's 2 children or the unborn child she was carrying when McDuff took her life?!? How about Colleen's parents who lost their child in such a brutal way but, had no body to bury for over 7 years?!?
Let me tell you about Colleen Ann Reed. She was the baby of the family, a good church going catholic. She worked as a CPA for the LCRA & a full time volunteer for the National Guard. She had a fiance', the sweetest guy, Oliver. Can you imagine? You are about to embark on the lovely journey of sharing the rest of your life with the one you love. Your heart is full of dreams for the future, starting a family and growing old together. Then, to have that dream shattered in such a horrible, violent way?!?
The day of her abduction, she did volunteer work for flood victims in Austin, went to church, deposited Christmas money sent by her Grandmother, stopped by the Wholefoods market, then she went to was her

By the way, Ms. Reeds kidnapping took place in front of witnesses. At that point, he could have taken off running. Personally, I'd rather take the chance of being shot, than putting myself in the position of RAPING AND BURNING another human being with cigarettes and knowing that in the end, she was going to be murdered. And I seriously doubt that his family was ever threatened. Those are just words coming out of a man who was looking to get a lighter sentence, if not hoping to get off completely. Thugs will say ANYTHING to help themselves

@Ronnie Yarbrough, tell me, what did this "good guy" get out of putting cigarettes out on her? And he MUST have had a hard on in order to complete the process of RAPING her. Doesn't sound like he hated every minute of it to me!! You need mental help. You are sick.

He's nothing but a torturing RAPIST! And I'm SURE he was enjoying himself at that moment. ANY WOMAN who defends this bit of SLUG SLIME is just as DERANGED as he is and you need to have yourself evaluated. Quickly!

@Richard Baggerly, of COURSE you'd say that! You hoping to start a "bromance" with him? Come on! You can tell us! Or, is he related to you? Either way, you are BOTH equally DISGUSTING! Can I put a few cigarettes out on YOU?

He's not a "bad man"? SERIOUSLY? He TORTURED that girl by putting cigarettes out on her! That's NOT what I'd call a "GOOD" man! Hell, calling him a man at all is a stretch! Let me put cigarettes out on YOU and then you can tell me what a "good" person I am! That PIG is EXACTLY where he needs to be! After hearing all the women whining about how "abused" they've been and you all want this fool RELEASED? Come on now!! I hope he DIES in there!! What if that girl had been your SISTER? Idiot.

does anyone have a picture of Hank Worley. The reason I ask, I was at a gas station on IH35 not to long after Colleen Reeds abduction. There was a guy who looked just like McDuff having a cigarette along side the gas station and another man who kept coming up to me and asking me to come over to the side of the building. I kept asking him to leave me along, I went inside to pay for the gas and came back out and he followed me insisting I come over there. Luckily here were a couple of other men who walked out of the station and gave him a look like get away from her. I jumped in my car with my heart pounding praying they did not follow. I always wondered if it were the two of them. The man who was asking questions was around 5'8", if I saw a picture of him I would know him. It's been impeded in my brain all these years.

I went to school with Hank Worley and we we're friends. Hank is not this kind of person. He has a conscience and would never have gone along with McDuff. He would of and I'm sure tried to help the victim but, McDuff had a gun and I'm sure he was scared. This could happen to anyone, you get in a car with someone not knowing that they are armed, and not knowing their intentions or mental status (think about it) how easy this could happen to. you, saying someone is going to kill you or his family. Hank is a good person and don't deserve 40 years. He might be guilty of other things, which we all are but, never accessory to murder. Please let him out of prison. If there is anything I can do more, let me know. Ronnie Yarbrough
