Alumni Urge Penn Law to Be a Voice of Morality and Speak Up Against Hamas Terrorism

All breaches of morality by any person, organization or gov’t must be recognized through the lens of justice. The failure to speak out against the atrocities committed upon Israeli civilians by the Palestinians, as well as the complicit allowance of hateful Anti-Jewish displays on campus, confirm a bias against Israel and the Jewish people. If UPENN is committed to Justice, then let the voice of this respected organization EQUALLY condemn the hatred and atrocities committed by any entity. Anything but undermines the trust of this organization to carry out the mission of teaching new generations the mental, spiritual and moral fortitude to speak out against such hatred that has indeed been exemplified by these recent heinous actions by Hamas and (the seemingly Hamas-aligned) UPENN’s subsequent silence.

Pogroms are not warfare. They are murder. Condemn HAMAS and Hiźbolah. Return our hostages. Please condemn hateful speech advocating the eradication of a legitimate nation.

When you stand with and for evil it will find you. When they rape your mother and behead your baby and literally rip your daughter’s baby alive from her womb…this is YOUR silence. Who will speak up for you?!

The anti-Semetism and the championing of terrorists groups, such as ISIS and Hamas, that has been demonstrated in Western countries and in North American Universities over the past few years has to be stopped. What took place in Israel on October 7, 2023, was genocide, a war crime, and must be treated as such.
