Tough Business Decisions are something that needs to be made. However Ethical Decisions have to go hand in hand with Business. Stakeholders like retirees do matter. Please work with the people who have given to the Mount so much, and who make the Mount the great-beautiful place that it is today and find a solution that is both ethical and good for business. #restorethetrust

I'll continue to keep the Mount in my prayers. This place is so very special to me and countless others. We need to try our best to get it back to the way it ought to be.

As the professors at the Mount support our futures, let us support theirs.

The Mount has a unique mission and Catholic identity. It is not like other colleges/universities. Hence, it makes no sense to use the argument that because other colleges do not offer the Post-Retirement Medical Benefit, the Mount need not either. Retirees were given this benefit in good faith. To take it away is a breach of faith on the part of the Administration. I urge you to reconsider.

Read that a couple times.

This type of behavior , by the administration , is dangerous to the foundation of the institution and contrary to all the values and beliefs the Mount is built on. We take care of our own !
