I can't stand desert style maps, they are plain, and drab and dark, and do you know how hard it is to clean the sand of of fur?! This Charr just can't stand it anymore. After grinding through Dry Top and Silverwastes, the last thing I want to do is roam WvW in yet more sand! Alpine maps were gorgeous, easy to navigate and overall far more enjoyable to be in. At the very least consider a rotation of the maps to allow players who enjoy both styles to be happy.

Alpine map is x 1000000000 better than Desert map. Simple fact, a lot of the old WvW players quit just because of gw new map.

Just cuz PvEers don't want simple game michanics don't mean WvWers want to run through a maze to get to a Keep.
(btw I still can't get in or out the Keeps without a waypoint or toure guide)

I hate new bl ... love to fight on alpine now a days its or que eb or just dont play at all... and i used to play every night

The smaller more navigable size meant more fights with enemy players and less wandering. Also the lack of barricades promoted roaming.
