Dear Alorica

We writing to you to voice our concerns as a agent/employees of Alorica. As a agent/employee we do not feel we are getting treated as regular employees should be treated. Compared to other WAH companies that have employees it seems we are not receiving the benefits we should have.

Benefits for Agent and *Agents 30, would include:

1. Holiday Pay - Agent and Agent 30

2. Cost of living / yearly review raises - *Agent 30

3. Paid time off - *Agent 30

4. Paid correctly for tech pay - Agent and Agent 30

5. Bonus/recognition for long time agent/employee - Agent and Agent 30

If agent/employee were to get these benefits, Alorica would have better employees and everyone would feel they are treated fairly. As a suggestion to implement these benefits:

1. Holiday Pay - Offer a minimum of 8 hours at state minimum wage for each agent/employee that works a minimum of 5 hours the day before and day after the holiday.

2. Review agent/employee yearly to determine if they would qualify for yearly cost of living raises.

3. Paid Time off - Allow agent/employees to accrue PTO or Sick Time by the number of hours worked (ex. agent can accrue 30 min for every 1 hour worked. 30 min x 8 hours = 240 min / 60 min equals 4 hours of PTO agent can take off paid at agent skill rate. If a agent works 36 hours a week times 30 mins for each hour that's 1,080 min / 60 is 18 hours earned for PTO the agent can use but still get paid for time off work, like vacation, or medical leave.) As well as 4 bereavement days and 5 sick days per year.

4. Tech Pay - Pay agent/employee all time spent when getting a tech issue resolved instead of just the 30 min of tech pay. Agent/employee should also get Excused Time of hours missed. (ex.The issue started at 9:15a. You call and get assistant at 9:21a. Call was made to get help from a TM/PAL. You are on hold until 9:47a, when they finally tell you that you have to call tech support. Tech support finally resolves your issue at 11:07a. Time should be paid from 9am to 11:30a and excused for 9:00a-11:30a because that is the entirety of agent/employee shifts.)

5. Bonus - There should be in place some type of bonus or recognition for those who have been working for many yrs. (ex. 5 yrs recognition, 10 yrs recognition ect.)

If agent/employees received benefits such as this Alorica would have more productive agents and there would be very little turnover of agents on any skill. As agent/employee we have families too, and the reason why most agents have been with Alorica for so long is that we love our jobs and we have families that we have to support. But if we are not treated like employees and provided with benefits other then health care then that's where Alorica turnover of agents increase. Alorica says we are employees but we are not treated as such. All we are ask is that we are treated as equal employees and receive additional benefits.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I believe that we shouldn’t be punished financially due to Alorica system mishaps. We have responsibilities that has to be paid, that’s why we work.

Sounds good to me and a great motivator for all us WAH Agents

I agree. There is a certain thing called motivation. Motivation has to do with making your employees feel special/needed and appreciated. Alorica does not offer any of these. I understand we are WAH employees, but that does not make us any less valuable. I do not like the fact they average our salaries. Meaning, if they offer a increase rate per hour, you do not get that pay, you get average for the week. That's not right and I wonder if it is legal. Also, they refuse to provide 'thorough' feedback when issuing WQA's. Employees are PIN'ed for things never discussed or are provided with inconsistent guidance. Not everyone is on the same page. You can get one answer from one Pal/TM and a different one from another Pal/TM. When sending messages regarding Feedbacks, it's the luck of the draw to get a response. And heaven forbid you get someone like Michelle Sargeant, she is one of th emost negative people ever. I fail to understand how she became a TM with the attitude we get from her.
