As previous comments made, we do have a duty of care to our elderly citizens as none of us would be where we are today. We owe it to this precious generation who uphold great values & know what integrity means. The down-sized units built in the last few years ensure the elderly remain an integral cohort of each community and not side-lined.

I support this petition whole-heartedly and would wish that homes designated for older people should allow older house-owners to move to smaller accommodation near shopping and other facilities in their home locality.

We have a duty of care to our elderly citizens to ensure their comfort in their later years. They are the generation who suffered the hardship to ensure a decent standard of living for the present population. We owe them everything and they deserve better treatment than prisoners who graduate with honours by way of reward for their crimes. Our senior citizens are to be cherished.

I absolutely support this petition. We cannot in all National conscience treat our senior citizens in anything but a caring and compassionate manner as regards proper housing and all other needs. Some day it may be us - dignity is a human right

Elderly people should be a priority for any government. I support the petition that a dedicated amount should be set aside annually to meet the needs and provide for the dignity of senior citizens

The older people are the ones that have made the country what it is today, They have paid taxes all their adult lives and should now be cared for in their twilight years, not discarded and left homeless, have some respect.

We should not be asking our government to supply housing for the elderly elderly we should be insisting. Unfortunately I don't feel any confidence in these friends of developers.

There are plenty of half built houses that are costing the tax payer money by lying empty. Alone could put these to good use. My needs to be done about the homeless situation across the county.
