The joy and benefits countless families have experienced on these fields are priceless. I urge any official to do whatever it takes to keep these fields for community use.

Our church uses the fields for softball each summer, and really enjoy the use. Please retain the fields.

I think that the little kids who grow up in this town deserve to have fields to play the sports they love on. Also, if we want the baseball (and all the other sports who use there's feilds to practice) programs to keep doing we'll, get better and grow then I believe saving these feilds is key.

The community has so little to offer for extra curricular activities. This space should be dedicated to the continued use of the community instead of the children and citizens having to go elsewhere.

I have put my heart and soul to those fields . My entire family had years of enjoyment and memories play both baseball and soccer . I would be devastating to loose that same feeling for future children her in Almont . Almont has very little to offer people to stay here don't take this away .

No one has made mention of the 5 tennis courts that should also be saved at the site, and few have mentioned the playgrounds. The site should again be a safe place for families in the community to play baseball, soccer, football, tennis, and to play all around the many acres of community space. What has happened has been sad, but it is not beyond repair, and the community needs to be willing to invest in itself as much as it needs the right decisions to be made about future use.
