Thank GOD I am not an agent with this crap company any longer. You don't care about their agents, their staff nor the policyholders. While my business won't make or break you, all the family and friends I wrote coverage for do have mouths and they all agree your already shaky reputation is now full on hate. You are no longer the Allstate that I ate and breathed for over 25 years.

Customers will not like it and will bypass it to reach my agency so it will just reduce revenue for the agency, not workflow.

I am 22 year agent never felt so betrayed until now!! I’ve always worked hard to make quotas ~ never stayed idle just collect renewals. I brought 1,000’s of customers in thru my doors and have been happily servicing them only for Allstate to take 10% of my renewals away to lower TC expense ratio at MY expense to gain market share?Agents in my area cannot survive by uncompetitive rates with the new compensation structure. This feels like a nightmare that cannot be awoken from.

Forcing ISC goes against what it means to be an Allstate agent. We build trust and relationships with our customers. It takes me time to get my customers comfortable with any new hires that I can't imagine them talking to someone different every time they call in. We are already losing market share in auto and this will not help. Charging 2% is a crime and I would not do it if it were free. It makes me wonder if those making the decisions want agents at all. This could be the beginning of the end of Allstate. I sit hear and read all of the comments and it saddens me and frustrates me. I was always proud to do my best for this company and represent the name. I am sorry that I can't say that anymore. I am trying to remain positive but it is tough when Mother Allstate keeps taking from agents and threatens to terminate agents with emails about the lack of auto sales.

Mandating IS will reduce retention and Allstate’s reputation of having an exclusive agency for customers. Customer service teams in large call centers will not put in as much effort as an agent to keep customers.

Please Do Not make this mandatory as this will trigger a ripple effect of agents defecting in mass exodus and cause many families to go through Very hard times.

Bad for the customer, bad for the agency, bad for the company in the long run. No matter how much they cut, but the greedy chairman would never ever pass the savings to the customers. Rates will keep on increasing.

In my opinion this is a 180 from what customers want and expect, what agents signed up for, and what has made Allstate successful. Our business model has worked based on relationships with customers. No contact with a client is just a "transaction" even a payment. Allstate has enjoyed its success because of the current model and in large part, agent efforts. Direct carriers are adding agent distribution points because they know it works. Cutting our commission and reducing the support (EA, BYB, business cards, paper, envelopes, trips, bonus opportunity, etc.) that makes being a captive worth the commitment in spite of reduced commissions vs IA. We now have ALL the same expenses and LESS support than the IA channel. Not declaring this will not be mandatory has has also demoralized the agency force broadly, sapped the energy and created a negative climate in the sales force. The Company already struggles to recruit and keep agents, who will want to do this for 7% renewals. Renewal commission is why we work so hard and most agents got into the business.

20%! Seriously?! We are already being paid less than the Independent market... how in the world can you expect us to handle another 20% of our commission to be taken away? The idea is solid, but the idea that we can give up 2% isn't. Please consider 1%

This is a cooperate cash grab that will cripple how and why we are successful as an independent agents. The Allstate lackeys that have been hired have no connection with our customers and have already pirated sales from a growing agency. This is a spit in the face from a company that I hold so dear. To hold an agency hostage for 20% of residual income is embarrassing and it shows that Allstate only cares about the bottom dollar.

If this becomes mandatory I will have to TPP also. I have built the relationships with my customers, and as stated have been told my rates are higher but we stay because of your office.

I will be taking the TPP!! My agency will not be able to survive if we are forced to go with Integrated Services. My agency has been built on me establishing strong relationships with my customers. We are told that your prices are high, but we love the service you provide. Someone at a call center, will not care the same as we do.

The price tag is simply too high. Even if I find a way to keep my doors open on the limited cash flow the opportunity cost is still there. Why do this instead of another small business opportunity if the profit margins are razor thin?
