We just paid an outrageous amount for a hoodie that my daughter cant even wear? Do we get a refund? Ever since Mr. Hatch left, this school just gets worse and worse. Power trip? Or what? Let them wear the hoodies, check under them for correct uniform dress code. Common sense people.

When will the school issue refunds for purchase hoodies made from the school recommended vendor???? Obviously school administrators didn’t think this through completely. If there’s an issue regarding hoodies, implement the students must not cover their heads in the school building. Lets use “common sense” not “power sense”..... Starting off 2019/20 school year on the wrong foot!

We would like to wear our hoodies this year because most of us paid for our class hoodies, and they weren't really cheap. We've wore them for years so why take it away now?

I find this new rule pointless. If the rule was made because students might not have on the right shirts under then that could easily be solved by enforcing the rule more and checking. But taking the hoodies away, especially after people has spent money on them, is kind of a stretch for a consequence.

When my daughter showed this to me the first question I asked was "Why don't they want you guys to wear them?". Or better yet why do you want to wear a hoodie and my daughter replied " because in the winter time the heat doesn't work properly. Now in the summer time when a class have AC it to cold. Then I asked my oldest daughter didn't you purchase a hoodie from that school and she stated yes. So now I'm confused by how can you sell them then say they can't wear them. As a parent if I purchase something from a school I expect my child or children to be able to wear such product until they graduate or given a better option.

Let them kids wear hoodies. Have them are already 18 and you’re telling them they can’t wear hoodies. Half of them are signed up the military when they graduate but they can’t wear hoodies. They can’t wear hoodies, but can’t wear “frivolous” clothing so exactly what the heck are they suppose to wear!!??

Hoodies should be allowed!! You can't take everything away. Hoodies have no negative effect on the school. Its purpose only to keep students warm and comfortable. Hoodies should be allow i dont see why the aren't. Too many student put money into getting a hoodie for this year and several other year. Allow hoodies bc there is nothing wrong with them.

Hoodies do not represent anything negative about or toward the school. Having the hood on in the building, of course, could be prohibited, but they should be able to be worn, especially if they’re school-bought, or fit the uniform code. Some people may wear hoodies because they’re uncomfortable with their body, or simply because it’s cold. Some sweaters may not provide the comfortability that hoodies provide. Reid Ross is a uniform school, not a “No-Hoodies” school.
