Please review current guidance from a perspective of a 15.75 -17 year old, just having altered life and school for months due to a pandemic. Then recall that at best, practically speaking, DOL is going to have huge backlogs for this largely, purely “administrative”function in a multi step process. to licensing! Our children have made so many sacrifices with grace and strength!, Please show them they have a voice and that their social participation Matters and is respected. By removing the current practice of DOL issuing temporary permits and replace it with Driving School completion of coursework predriving hours as per the approval and starting point to 6 month waiting before full driving privileges.

Please allow instruction permits to be issued ASAP. Recipients will only be driving with a licensed driver anyway and COVID is a perfect time for extra instruction. Cannot be much for downsides to issuing instruction permits remotely.

We need to get to back to some normalcy. I don’t think getting permits is going to hurt anyone. Not like anyone is hovering over anyone for this.

I work at a drivers ed school and boy do these teens need to get on the road! This will allow thousands of teens to begin their drivers practice. Please sign this!

My daughter starts classroom education Monday and cannot get her permit. There are flat out no appointment options online at two local locations for 4 months. How is she supposed to complete her driving portion of drivers ed? Please find away to allow this. Thanks, Janell Eickerman
