Please at least let them apply online at least. Or allow for appts. This is the only time of the year my daughter can follow through with drives ed.

I’m 15 and I finished my drivers ed course roughly two months ago. I worked really hard and all my friends got their permits before the DMVs closed. I however, didn’t make the cutoff. With COVID-19, everyone’s lives have completely changed. I don’t get to see my friends or do anything I used to. And the one thing I was looking forward to was getting to drive. That was the one experience I thought I would be able to have. I was told a few days ago that I would finally be able to make and appointment to get my permit. Apparently plans have changed. I know that my problem is probably insignificant looking at the bigger picture. However, it is something I know means a lot to me and many other kids my age.

How is this not essential?!? Our kids need to practice what they are learning!! RIDICULOUS that this isn't already an online option!!

This is ridiculous. My daughter was supposed to get her permit in March. How can she get her license and be able to work when she’s 16 if they can’t get their permit and need it for 6 months???

My daughter cannot get her permit. She is currently enrolled in Driver's Ed and unable to practice behind the wheel to earn her required driving time. Thank you.

They should be allowed to open. We are all driving around with people in the car and I’m sure they will take more safety precautions than we do everytime we get in our cars on a daily basis.
