If DOL has a plan in place and all we are waiting on is a gubernatorial signature, please bump this to the head of the line for our students. Non-photo permits are already issued when identity documents are not present in-person, or if the student already has a WA ID. If the web interface/infrastructure is no longer holding us back, I see no reason that a non-photo permit shouldn't be able to be applied for online.

Young student drivers need to apply skills learned in Drivers Education classes and apply them to actual supervised driving time or else these expensive lessons are of no use. Please allow them temp permits asap.

Please allow this to move forward. Kids really need to be driving simultaneously with classroom learning to cement safe driving practices. This seems to be a straightforward solution.
