My daughter has been in driver's ed for over a month, and we are not able to practice the skills she is learning. Please make it so kids can get their driving permits ASAP. They need to be able to practice what they are learning in driver's training.

Please implement an easy and non time consuming method to get new drivers their permits and, eventually their licenses (depending on how long phase 2 and 3 last.)

No reason students can't start learning now, even if all offices can't open. A licensed parent driver will be with them.

Given that Lynnwood and Renton's agencies are already FULL for July, it would make sense to allow not having a photo taken for the learning permit. So that would resolve the bottleneck situation we are in.

The government still needs to be working on items that people need. Having appointments at all locations for people who can’t conduct their business online.

As the Administrative Manager of Freedom Driving School I am constantly dealing with the angry, frustrated and confused parents of our students wondering questioning why their kids can take our course but cannot get their drivers training permits so they can actually practice WHAT they're being taught! Please sign this!!

Our son has taken the course. He is ready to drive. Unfortunately we can't until we get his permit. He was scheduled to do so in early May, but due to COVID-19 the DOL has been closed. Now that it's open in only some locations, we are told that the appointments are full through July after only one day (June 22) of booking. Please allow young drivers to get a learning permit without visiting the DOL.

The safety feature is that a parent always needs to be with the young driver. A picture is not necessary in this extraordinary and unprecedented pandemic.

This is the perfect time (summer vacation) for the kids to complete their driving part of the driver's ed.
Please make allowances to get driving permits to them.

My daughter is enrolled in Drivers Ed, but will not be able to do the driving until she gets a permit, would help the kids learn to drive and help keep the lines down at the D.O.L. for the people that need to do in person support.

Our son completed the online paperwork in January but we couldn't get the actual permit until he turned 15. Now he's halfway through his driver's ed class but hasn't ever been able to drive. Please help!

As a high schooler who’s trying to get a license, I think this would be very helpful

Teenagers need maximum practice hours. Also, as they need to wait 6 months from the date they get their permit, this delay is affecting their ability to find employment as they need transportation.
