I consider myself eternally lucky to be able to say I was around when the oasis cafe opened 16 years ago; which means it has been a part of my life for over half of it. Like so many others, Cairo has been a safe haven for me. I met most of my friends there. I met my husband there. My kids are here today because of this amazing, welcoming home away from home. Cairo is important to is many people for so many reasons.

This one of the best music venues in the suburbs.

This place is great and it is not a nuisance at all. Sounds like someone is trying to push them put so one of their friends can get in. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN

Why attack small business and venues. This is ridiculous.

A place like the Cairo is rare and precious anywhere, especially the burbs.

Live music is the soul of any city! The music arts are so important for community and fellowship among people! Do not shut this establishment down! They have supported my daughters band and so many others!

I've sold artwork at this establishment before. They are good for the community.

Save the Cairo! A music venue like this is difficult to find in the suburbs. I have seen some of my favorite artists here and always look forward to their bass shows. They are not loud outside and I was honestly surprised to hear there had been complaints, given their location. The restaurant industry has been hit very hard by the pandemic. Please don't add another casualty to the list. Keep the Cairo!
