The Cairo is a very special venue to all the concert goers and the people running it and would be ashamed if I won’t get to come visit it when I’m in town

Cairo is a one of a kind restaurant that most people travel distances to visit. It has been a way to learn about music, make new friends, and have a safe haven for people of all types to go to. It would be a shame for he city of West Chicago to shut it down over a supposed noise ordinance. Save Cairo!!

Cairo is an important part of the city of west Chicago and has been for years. They deserve to continue to conduct their business they always have, with respect, dedication and most importantly as law abiding citizens and business.

There is no reason why this venue should be shut down. There is a lot of culture and many friendships and smiles to go around at the events and I have personally played here and it was nothing short of a great experience. I implore you to rethink, West Chicago

This place is amazing. The food is good. The staff is tight knit and makes everyone feel welcome. People genuinely enjoy the place even over the amazing food and events they have to offer.

Cairo is a safe space for so many of us to let go. Shutting Cairo down will only hurt us. If you’re so afraid of what Cairo does.. I wonder what would happen if we didn’t have a please to unleash!

Cairo is a staple in providing a safe environment for people to enjoy all sorts of local art and music. This is absolutely mind blowing that any part of the government would take this away from their local community. Much less ruin the family who owns it’s livelyhood. This will ruin them and they are such sweet people. I’ve personally been to multiple charity shows that helped the community and people in trouble at Cairo.
