They were shut down for being a threat to the community? But that's not true at all. It's just noise complaints.

I have met some amazing people at the Cairo. They have brought so many people from all over together; old and new friends. The vibes are always on point and seeing this happen to them is heartbreaking.

The Cairo has become my home over the years. It has provided me a safe space and helped me make so many connections with some beautiful people. The thought of not being about to attend shows/concerts there that bring me, my friends, and strangers together is heartbreaking!!

Cairo is a home for so many. It had brought people together for almost two decades. It's been a life-line for many, and I've had some of my favorite memories there. To take that away would be more than an injustice, and any person in power who would choose to take that away from our community is not someone who should represent West Chicago at all.

Cairo is such an iconic place in the Western suburbs. Some of the the kindest, hardest working people work there dying to serve all who come.

This space is crucial for creatives in the Western Suburbs and causes little disturbance to the neighboring area. The noise claims are baseless in my opinion. This venue deserves to stay OPEN!

This place is being targeted. Their noise levels are no louder than traffic going by. Give these guys a break for gods sake.
