This would mean shutting down a safe haven and happy space for so many!

Cairo was always my go to spot and I have tons of great memories there, owners/family are great and it's always been a welcoming and safe environment, the city needs to stop changing things around all the time and causing headaches for small businesses.

I live near the Ciaro and have never heard a peep from them. I only hear the road noise from route 59. I have never been to the Cairo but I support them as there have been no noise issues.

Cairo is where I was first able to see Fox Stevenson and it was such an amazing night in a very small, personal venue. You cant take away these types of venues and expect bands to ever be able to build up a following. If you just want nothin but tiktok influencers on the radio, this is the the best way to get there.

Crazy to think that a business that pays it's taxes, and is just trying to stay alive could be targeted like this. Mayor and city in general are a disgrace.

This is absolutely absurd! This is a great place for commune and unity and for many artists to display many of their great works. I've found some of the best people and artists attending events at this venue. It would be an absolute stain on west Chicago to let this clear bullying take away such a great staple for many people to see and hear something fresh and positive!

Cairo Ale House has been and is a great place for local live shows in West Chicago, known for its variety of genres, this venue supports not only local talent, well known nationwide artists, but also the creative minds to sell their artwork at this location. They uphold a welcoming and safe environment to all their patrons. There is no other venue within West Chicago that can match the scale of production, execution, or standards of Cairo Ale House.
