I'm a promoter and on several management teams for local dj's and are interested in playing here, and coming as guests. People move in next to a place and expect it to conform to them. I'm so sorry.

You can’t do this! Let them make some noise! These guys were one of the first venues to let me play my music back in the day!!!

This place has served as a great, safe place for young adults in this community to enjoy being out and not having to go far to do so. The live venues keep it a great source revenue for the city. It is a family owned business and I love the hometown feel that establishments like this bring to the community.

The fact that there are noise reports on nights the building is knowingly closed shows this is a vindictive party with a chip on their shoulder. You couldn't ask for a better venue in the suburbs. Always feel safe here.

Cairo facilitates a very safe, fun, & controlled space for any & all patrons to have a great time, eat good food, & enjoy live music. This action is completely unwarranted & has been caused by evidently malicious action.

The Cairo was one of the safest places for people to hang out. I say that especially as a woman. It is rare to find the place where the staff takes such good care of you in terms of food and entertainment as well as as a person. It's incredibly rare to find a place so well run with so much care. It is terrible to shut them down.

Out of all venues in the west Chicago area, Cairo is by far my favorite place to go to and dance and to forget ab whats going on in the world right now. The people who work there are like family to me and they have worked so hard to keep it going through these hard times. You should allow this venue to stay open because its way more than just a venue!! Do not shut down the cairo!!!!

I've been attending shows at the Cairo for years. The owners are awesome folks; and their venue is a credit to West Chicago community.

This pillar of the local music community has every right to operate as they have been for years.
