Today, Tyler announced he’s “banned in Australia” while tweeting “you won” to organization director Coralie Alison. It’s unclear to what extent he’s banned but signs point to a revoking of his visa. So we are hoping, with enough petition signatures (2500 at least) that this will be overlooked. Not only for the fans to be able to enjoy his shows in September, but also to point out and support that there is no serious reasons why he should be banned.

Seeing 500 people stand up for this already shows how much Tyler means to us. I started this because I refuse to accept that he should be kept out of our country for no valid reason.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that so many of you believe in the importance of letting artists perform without these heavy restrictions. Knowing that my frustration is shared by this many people gives me real hope that we can change the outcome for his tour.

Tyler shoul not have to be banned from Australia for lyrics that have been around for years. He says that Aus was awesome and to be banned from it for that is a dumb reason. I'm not from there but I think it's unfair to the fans on the other side.

Please allow Tyler into the country! I am a very big fan of Tyler and see no reason why he should be banned. Yes he may have sung controversial things in the past while he was 16-18, but he has said that he has regretted those actions and has changed his ways. Please!

Let him in, this is bs people such as Mike Tyson is allowed into Australia but Tyler isnt?. Everyone who actually knows Tyler knows that hes just a funny person who likes to joke around. Anyone who reads this knows that feminism takes it to far out of context and does not look it as a whole

I believe that the allegations about his music are highly outdated. All of his songs referencing rape and murder were made 4-6 years ago. Since around 2012, he has focused on less violent music. Therefore he cannot be banned for music he no longer performs.

Tyler the creator isn't the only musician who raps about rape and violence and sex, and if you think about it he has improved from his first two albums they are just songs not something to be taken seriously

The fact that you want to ban an artist because of their lyrics, use of swear words and their not so bad past is ridiculous. He is not a threat to the country in any form so why go to so far of an extent to have his visa refused.

super late to what happened a couple years ago but it's one vote closer, Tyler has a different but great style and these lyrics were way too old to judge, other people let into australia have done a lot worse.
