A valedictorian has every right to give a speech at their graduation as of behalf of their hard work and dedication to their academia! This is an American tradition! Why would we stop it!?

I was absolutely shocked when I heard she wasn't chosen to speak. Toni has earned the honor and right to give the Valedictorian speech.

I am a valedictorian at my high school and I know how difficult it is to earn this honor. Every valedictorian deserves the option of delivering a speech at his or her school. It's what we have worked for for four years.
